This act of defiance at the age of sixteen solidifies her resolve to carve out her own space in the world. The story concludes with Zora, a part-time seamstress, meticulously preparing a new dress for a performance at a juke joint, symbolizing her determination to claim her place as an artist despite the challenges she faces.

At times the past can be ever so haunting. Doesn't matter who or what you are. Everyone has those skeletons in their closet they would prefer to utterly forget about. Somniare Omnia is no different. Trauma. It's all around us, leaving no one out of its grasp. Omnia is confronted with a small ground that can control trauma, and some specific types. Though she hopes they will be helpful as much as their leader, Mors, has been she does wonder. She wonders if they will betray her in the end because of their domains. Or will they surprise her? Only time will tell. In the mean time, she waits by doing some damage control with the resistance. New arrivals can cause a lot of unwanted tension.

Watching Zora dance with another man hit Daze with a cold stab of regret and insecurity. The confident persona he wore on stage melted away, replaced by the raw fear that he might have been a fool. His recent confession felt hollow, and he was filled with a crushing sense of "what if"—what if he was too late, and the emotional intimacy of their late-night calls was never meant to become anything more.
