This one is about thinking you're getting better, finally healing and moving on. But she manages to sneak back in and ruin everything you worked so hard to move on from. It's not her fault though, I only have myself to blame for letting this continue on.

Fear, anxiety, and confusion have a way of clouding our judgment and stealing our peace. In this article, I share how God used prayer, Scripture, and the encouragement of others to remind me of a simple truth: be still before the Lord. Through a personal story about an important life decision, I explore identity, faith, and the peace that comes from trusting God even when the future feels uncertain.

Rejection can deeply wound the heart and affect the way we see ourselves, relationships, and even God. But Jesus understands rejection more than anyone. He was betrayed, abandoned, mocked, and crucified, yet He still chose forgiveness and love. While people may reject, misunderstand, or leave us, our value has never been determined by people, it comes from God. True healing begins when we stop seeking our worth in human acceptance and start finding our identity in Christ.

I can't yet come to a conclusion on whether or not it's ethical to lie about my childhood to the people who expect trust from me. I want to seem normal to folks that don't yet know me. I just don't know the right way to keep a person in my life by being honest and trying not to scare them away at the same time.

In this blog, I share my journey of learning to be honest with myself, others, and God about my anxiety and mental health struggles. For years, fear and shame caused me to hide parts of my life because I worried people would think less of me. Eventually, those hidden struggles affected my relationships, work, and spiritual life. After experiencing a severe anxiety attack and seeking inpatient help, I began learning healthier coping tools and started healing through honesty. This blog reminds readers that healing often begins when we bring hidden things into the light and allow God to work in truth.

By Lydia Holland, Featured on Women's Empowerment Solution People pleasing may feel like it keeps the peace, but over time, it leads to burnout, resentment, and losing yourself. True peace doesn’t come from avoiding conflict; it comes from walking in truth. Healing looks like setting boundaries, honoring your needs, and choosing honesty over approval. It’s not instant, but one step at a time, you begin to rebuild self-respect and experience real peace. You can love people—and still choose yourself.

Wounds often create walls of bitterness and fear in our lives. Because of that, we can miss out on both the big and small blessings God has for us, and we may even push other people away. The longer we remain trapped in unforgiveness and fear, the more we end up hurting ourselves.

Fighting the Flesh explores the real and often hidden battle between our sinful nature and the Spirit of God within us. So many believers struggle silently with shame, temptation, fear, lust, bitterness, people pleasing, anger, insecurity, and returning to unhealthy cycles that wound us deeply. This post dives into the honesty of Romans 7 and the hope found in Galatians 5, reminding us that while the battle is real, God’s grace is greater. Through personal testimony, Scripture, and encouragement, this message is for anyone who feels trapped in cycles they desperately want freedom from. You are not your struggle. In Christ, healing, restoration, and freedom are possible.

The Woman I Meet in My Dreams Chapter One 2:17 A.M. I never used to remember my dreams. People would talk about flying through cities or seeing dead relatives in grocery stores, and I’d nod along pretending I understood. Sleep had always been dark and empty for me — like my mind shut completely off just to survive another day. Until her. The first time I saw her, I woke up crying without knowing why. Not loud crying. Not panic. Just silent tears sliding into my hairline while the room stayed dark around me. She was standing in a kitchen with sunlight pouring through open windows. Barefoot. Hair messy. Humming softly while making coffee like nobody in the world had ever hurt her before. And the strange part wasn’t that she looked familiar. The strange part was that she was me.
