Assumptions around ASD do not cover the full story of the experience. It is different for everyone but in many ways it is the same. I have had an interesting journey being high-functioning in a world that wants us to follow it while not including us in how it works. In sharing my experiences I hope someone finds understanding and to enlighten others and how it feels to be on the spectrum! All I ask is to be respectful and keep your rude comments to yourself.
