Just a thought I had while pondering late at night. Is forgiveness really necessary? Can you agree to not forgive someone and really be satisfied with that choice?

I have this innate desire to pour into people, to love with my entire nervous system and give my all to anyone that holds significance in my life. It’s a beautiful trait to have, it takes strength to keep your heart open and honor your sensitivity in a world that isn’t kind most of the time. On the downside it gets draining having such big feelings and no stable place to store them. Here I unpack the roots of this insatiable yearning that has been an ongoing theme of my adolescence and what it’s beginning to look like for me going into young adulthood.
