Today's rune was Eihwaz. The harvest rune. This rune came up today and pretty much tells me to be patient with my reaping, as I've planted the seed, now I just have to wait for it to grow. The problem, is that with my current dire situation, time is of the essence and I need things to happen faster so that the dire situation won't get worse. Or maybe it's talking about a different kind of reaping. One about identity. I've put myself out there, now I need to wait for them to come. The whole "Field of Dreams" quote comes to mind.

Juneteenth wasn't born from hashtags or holiday sales. It was a blood-earned moment—made possible by rifles, risk, and a party most folks no longer recognize.

The Stone Day goes on forever Darkness takes my sight I won't leave you side The Stone is cold this night Angel of death sits, waits There is nothing for you here A voice inside my brain says..yes My love is very near Light can't touch you Darkness in my soul Eyes close in sadness My death will now unfold Ache in pain without you You are lost,as am I I can't live without you My life,a total lie Mind, lost I rest my head Near your heart Among the dead For you and me Within my heart,we are free The Angel comes Shows the way As rain falls,I die today Souls awakes From their slumber Finally free My love brings the thunder End has come, for me as one With my love, the wait is done Together again, beyond time The daylight breaks His stone, our shrine Love is neverending Never is it half The Stone stands upright Both names to show the path.

Today, however, her focus was pulled towards the hushed tones emanating from the consultation room down the hall. Mrs. Albright, a sweet, if somewhat anxious, woman in her early sixties, had just received a difficult diagnosis: early-onset bipolar disorder. Ellie had always had a soft spot for Mrs. Albright, who often brought in homemade cookies for the staff.

Where sports are involved, I'm a firm believer in a solid knowledge and command of the basics. Shooting rubber bands, as with any big game, requires a similar background. While you are probably more acquainted with domesticated rubber bands, which are plentiful and easily captured, rubber bands in the wild prove much more elusive.

It’s about a personal journey of self-acceptance—recognizing your worth, letting go of self-judgment, and embracing who you truly are, flaws and all. This process often involves healing from past wounds, setting boundaries, and learning to speak kindly to yourself. Ultimately, it’s about building a healthy, compassionate relationship with yourself.

Well, no idea how I can get to be the best carpenter without having to go to school and become an apprentice. I am always a miss fixer kind of a person, you know. I fix people, I fix clogged sinks, I fix broken beds I mean that’s on my little level of knowledge. Anyway, there is one thing I really wish I could fix but I never will and maybe never will it happen. If I try getting screws, I have to get soft ones yet I don’t think they will work anyway. How I wish it was so easy to get in there, chisel it, smoothen the broken ages and glue them together The heart is a really funny organ that no science, fiction, no doctor, no witch doctor or no one will ever understand. Yes it can physically pain and that can get fixed medically but what about the emotional heartbreak? A heartbreak that feels like it’s broken in half, it feels like it’s dark in the socket, it feels like it’s empty, it feels like am imaginary laser wire is cutting through it every second of the day? THE SCREW?

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, and have passed on, to all the families out there, a good dad or a bad dad. A family still isn't it without one, love/like them today, it's still their day, and here is a short story for them. (Sorry, I was late. I was busy on Father's Day and couldn't post anything early, just in case my dad saw it. Also, check out my Instagram faye_ink to see hand-drawn pictures of this story.)

Two toads emerged in my neighborhood, Seeming as different, night to day, Holding my int’rest, long I stood; One looking less toad-like than it should Rife with tendencies, it seemed, to splay. Observing the other, as it were, And no doubt owning fitted structure, Neatly assembled, as toads prefer,
