In cryptic transfers and staggering amounts.

From wire to pocket, the currency flows,

A shadow economy everyone knows.

Convicted felons send checks to this con-man-in-chief,

Whose time behind bars is suspiciously brief.

For if you have the right amount of dough,

You can laugh all the way to Mar-a-Lago.

Pardons for sale is the word going 'round,

While the soul of the nation is driven to ground.

But the ink isn’t dry, and the truth is a light,

That cuts through the fog of this long, dark night.
